We have recently updated the robustness of our facility profiles to allow our members to really get to know your facility before they schedule a tour, making these leads significantly more qualified and will increase your sales conversion rates.
How will GEM help me grow my business?
The main purpose of our platform is to help drive new leads to your facility while providing more exposure to your fitness professionals. By doing this our goal is to help drive membership numbers and fitness professional usage within your facility. We aren’t just going to stop there, our mission is to provide you with access to anything your facility needs to thrive. We can connect you to anything from top fitness software to top of the line business mentors.
How will I accept payments from trainers trying to book time in my facility?
As of now, you will have to set a payment arrangement up with the trainer. GEM is working to install a payment solution software within the app to make a more seamless process, but for now, that will have to be worked out between the fitness professional and the facility owner.
How will I know when a trainer/member has requested a time slot?
We are facilitating the connection between the fitness professional and facility, it is up to the trainer to confirm the time slot with the gym. We are aware of this inconvenience and will be addressing this with our next iteration of the app.
What happens if a trainer or their client breaks a piece of equipment?
Depending on the situation, liability will either fall on the facility or the fitness professional. Our role is to facilitate connections with these new professionals and members; it’s the gym’s and professional’s responsibility to set in place guidelines for liability in these circumstances.
Do I have to let outside trainers come into my facility if I join the app?
No, when your fitness facility joins our network it does not have to let outside trainers come into the facility and train. Every fitness facility may choose to use its own in house trainers and solely advertise their services on our platform.
Can I cancel at any time?
There are no contracts when you create a profile on our platform. This means facilities can downgrade any time within 30 days of last payment with no hassle. Every facility within our network will always have an option for a free profile, which means you won’t ever have to cancel, you will only need to downgrade. This allows us to continue on our mission of indexing the fitness industry.
How will I know if the trainer coming into my facility is certified and insured?
GEM conducts a background check, certification check, and insurance check on all trainers before they are allowed to train on the GEM app. Once they have completed all background checks, their profile will be activated and they will be eligible to receive new leads.
